The Rockettes follow up their successful 85th anniversary revamp with their stunning technological enhancements and new show-stopping Rockettes performances. In this multi-themed production, the Rockettes will perform in countless scenes including The Nutcracker, The Nativity, as marching tin soldiers, glamorous reindeer and will welcome a very special gentleman to the stage!
In addition to the annual New York production, this touring version is presented in theaters throughout the United States. The first Christmas Spectacular outside of Radio City was presented in Branson, Missouri at the Grand Palace Theatre in 1994; coming home as it were, as the The Rockettes were originally called the Missouri Rockets! The successful show launched a national tour the following year. The original touring show ran from 1994 to 2003. In 2008, a new tour comprising the 2007 edition launched to wide acclaim.
In 2012 the Rockettes celebrated 85 years since the first version was presented at Radio City in 1933, and is treasured as a New York Christmas tradition, seen by more than a million visitors a year.
