Last night's concert was AMAZING! We had SO much fun! Must admit though, that after Chicago performed I didn't know how Earth Wind & Fire could compare, but OMG did they ever! So much talent and energy was displayed by both legendary bands! And when you both played together! OMG again! The best ever! - Thank you SO much for a wonderful evening filled with great music, great visuals, and great memories. Please come back to Cincinnati next year. We will be there!

Last evening, I went to the Allstate Arena to see earth, wind, and fire, and the band Chicago. Overall, it was a fantastic show. The bands were both wonderful. It does seem that they switched the opening act which was billed as Chicago, With the main act which was billed as earth, wind, and fire. It said that they were starting at 7:30, And perhaps they did but due to parking taking longer than expected we didn’t get in to the venue until 7:45, at which time they were already playing. To me, it doesn’t really matter who was billed first, as they are both wonderful bands, and deserve to be equal on the bill. The main Takeaway for me was how great they both still sound. I was in my 20s in the 70s, and I can say I didn’t realize how much these bands represent the old cliché, “ The soundtrack of my life”. The best thing about it is how these two bands are still at the top of their game! I would recommend anyone going to see them well worth it

5 Stars for the performance of both bands. Not sure if it was the sound engineers or poor sound equipment, but there were times during both performance that the speakers seemed to rattle. This wasn't a first at Riverbend. Seems new sound equipment might make good performances great!!

Winning performance.

A warm summers evening in Toronto and two iconic bands driving hit after hit, I can't envision a better setting . Both bands were at the top of their game but if I were forced to bet on a winner in this non-contest my money would fall on EW&F. Perfect vocals and original track sound quality resonated amid the packed house. I was not alone in my assessment there were about 25000 others in attendance who will attest that they owned the stage. Perfection is not a word to be thrown about but I have to say they were perfect. End of story. Chicago came ready to perform but in the absence of recognized vocals I felt they missed. The band performed flawlessly, again with production quality sound and presence . Having to follow up behind perfect production and vocal magic left me wondering when they would get going. PETER WHERE ARE YOU? All in all a great show and I should be counted in as one of the lucky ones. Thanks to both great bands for a fine summer memory. Cheers!

both bands have enormous talent, however Chicago's vocals were not clear and drowned out by the horns, EWF had much better sound, together on stage both bands were amazing for the final 6 songs together

Loved hearing the familiar music, but sound system really bad. Music overbearing drowning out vocals. Difficult to sing along. Glad I went, but might not see them again. The concerts prior to this, ie Maroon 5 and Train were spot on. Sound was perfect, so not sure this was not.
