Meet a young Louis Armstrong in this jazzy family friendly musical
Step into the vibrant world of 1915 New Orleans in this family friendly musical. Presented by the renowned Emerald City Theatre, Magic Tree House tells the story of brother and sister Jack and Annie who are transported back in time by a spellbound book, where they meet a 14 year old Louis Armstrong. Together they help Louis find his path through the musical world and become the king of jazz. The show is based on the book 'A Good Night for Ghosts' by Mary Pope Osborne.
Full of heebie jeebies, trumpets and plenty of great dancing, Magic Tree House is a tuneful magical realist tale that will keep kids enthralled, while also teaching them some history about the social conditions of the time. This Broadway Playhouse production is directed by Samuel Roberson.
