When her merchant father dies, Cendrillon's nasty step-mother makes a maid out of her step-daughter, forcing her to wait hand and foot on her ungrateful, comically ugly step-sisters. When Cendrillon is denied the chance to attend the Prince's ball, her fairy mother comes to the rescue in an unconventional way...
