Shabpareh is often referred to as The King of Persian Pop Music, and it's easy to see why. He's released over 20 solo albums during his career and has toured around the world countless times. In the sixties and seventies Shabpareh was a member of the Persian pop group Black Cats, a band started by his brother, Shahbal Shabpareh. During his time with the band, he started creating his own music and found success as a solo artist. A multitalented artist, Shabpareh plays several instruments, including the guitar, piano, and drums, and is a talent show judge and actor.
