Florence and the Machine

Why see Florence and the Machine?

Back for 2022

Florence and the Machine have returned! After a hiatus that left fans bereft, Florence Welch's soulful vocals made a comeback with the singles 'My Love', 'Heaven Is Here' and 'King', ahead of a May release for new record, Dance Fever Fans of the British chart-toppers will not be disappointed with this comeback, as Florence's eye-boggling outfits and incredible vocals are here to stay along with their Kate Bush-esque pop-rock.

The band is the recording name of singer/songwriter Florence Welch and a collaboration of other artists who provide backing music for her; Florence Welch is the band's only constant member. An art-college dropout from Camberwell, London, she was discovered singing Motown covers in a nightclub toilet, drunk. Musically Florence and the Machine's sound is generally referred to as soul-inspired indie rock.

it was like being in a crystal ball snow globe and being bombarded with emotions with no possible explanations. i swear i saw angels flying around Florence and the fans. full body chills like you entered a magical dimension of joyous sadness. it took me three days to come down from this magnificent enchantress and her truly beautiful aura. the Concert Hall is truly unique and fit perfectly for the musically transcendent feelings. ... Come on Vegas

Florence and the Machine always puts on a great show. I was stunned and disappointed to see them playing to a (conservatively) half empty arena. Having been to VGK games where there was not an empty seat to seeing the entire upstairs curtained and whole section (6,7) seemingly empty, seeing half of GA empty, shame on the promoters for doing such a terrible job of planning and promoting this show. FatM deserved and put on a show meriting a better showing than they received. ... Read more

Great concert

I love Florence and the Machine & try to go see her when she performs in Houston . I'm somewhat shy & intaverted, but when I'm at her concert I put away all those feelings. I sing all of her songs with her. She aske the audience to hold hands at one point & it was A ok with me. Then she asked us to hug the person next to us! Awesome.!! I can't wait for her to come back to Houston. I would definitely recommend planning to see her for a great night out, there's not a bad seat in the arena and anyone - children, young & old would truly enjoy her concerts. Love You Florence. ...
