Why see John Mulaney and Pete Davidson?
comedy heroes together again
They've done it before, you laughed 'til you cried, and now they're doing it all over again! Comedy big shots John Mulaney and Pete Davidson head out on tour together once more this fall! The gag-loaded stand up pair are much loved for their SNL tenures - Mulaney rose to prominence as a show writer whilst doing stand up on the NYC circuit, and since leaving has made enough special guest appearances as SNL host to join the hallowed Five Timers Club. Davidson, meanwhile, was a star cast member for eight seasons of SNL between 2014 and 2022, becoming a certified global superstar in the process.
These two comedy heroes represent the new school of American comedy and perfectly complement each other's style and wit. Winner of multiple Emmy and Writer's Guild Awards, Mulaney's stand up routine is built from the razor-sharp comedy writing that first got him noticed on SNL, fusing the surreal with the topical as seen his comparison of Trump and a horse loose in a hospital, or off-the-wall characterisations like his JJ Bittenbinder bit. Davidson's stardom has seen him become a regular in Hollywood movies (with 2023 appearances alone including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts). He has by no means let-up on the stand-up though, with his comedy taking a slightly more laidback, stoner route than Mulaney, layering self-deprecation with a razor-sharp observational humour that leaves no one unscathed, not even himself!
