Joe Bonamassa at The Chicago Theatre

Joe Bonamassa

Joe Bonamassa is the guitarist's guitarist. A master of the blues, Bonamassa easily ranks alongside the more well known Clapton or Jeff Beck. Such was his prodigious talent that he supported B.B. King at the tender of age of twelve in 1989, and was christened by King as "one of a kind." Since then, he's played with anyone who is anyone and released a formidable catalogue of studio albums.

Josh Ritter at Cahn Auditorium

Josh Ritter

Named in 2006 as one of the 100 Greatest Living Songwriters, Josh Ritter's work is reminiscent of Leonard Cohen and has seen this exceptionally talented artist go from strength to strength since the release of his self-named first album in 1999. He has become an experienced touring artist, having performed internationally with Irish band The Frames, and scoring himself a huge word-of-mouth following in the process.

Little River Band at Genesee Theater

Little River Band

An Australian rock band hailing from Melbourne, who took their name from a road sign for the Victorian township of Little River, Little River Band has found success in both Australia and the USA and have since gone on to be hugely popular throughout the world. Joe Russo's Almost Dead at Salt Shed - Indoor Shed

Joe Russo's Almost Dead

After the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995, a deluge of Grateful Dead cover bands rose to pay tribute to their legacy. Considering their cult status amongst fans, its easy to see why such outfits flourish, but there aren't many that carry the stamp of approval from living members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. Formed by Furthur drummer Joe Russo, Joe Russo's Almost Dead has a pedigree that marks it as a torchbearer of Garcia and co's legendary songbook.

Los Lobos at Cahn Auditorium

Los Lobos

Fusing good old fashioned rock and roll with brown-eyed soul, cumbia, boleros and norteno, Tex-Mex outfit Los Lobos (which translates to The Wolves) first gained commercial success and an international following when their cover of Ritchie Valens' La Bamba hit the top of the charts around the world in 1987. Experimenting with multiple genres over the decades, their wide-ranging sound has flourished in a variety of styles, from acoustic ballads to experimental rock. Whilst they may reinvent themselves constantly, their definitive fusion of Latin and American music remains at the creative core.

The Dead South at Riviera Theater

The Dead South

Harkening back to an era where country was more about punch-in-the-guts emotions and authentic performances than auto-tune and fist-pumping party anthems, The Dead South are often described as outlaws for their fearless return to a simpler time, blending bluegrass and folk with the energy of a DIY punk band. As compelling on stage as they are on record, the rock-stomping Canadian quintet hits the road once again!

The English Beat at City Winery

The English Beat

The English Beat (or The Beat as they're known in their native UK) surprised fans in 2016 with the announcement of a new record in the works - their first studio album since 1982's Special Beat Service!
