Emerald City Theatre: The Three Little Pigs
Chicago's jazzed-up Three Little Pigs is wonderful for families!

The performances are engaging and - much much to my pleasant surprise - the story has not been simplified nor does the script talk down to the audience.

Chicago's jazzed-up Three Little Pigs is wonderful for families!
Emerald City Theatre presents the American premiere of an exciting musical by Stiles and Drewe - the same Broadway composers who put the song in Mary Poppins! With fantastic costumes, sets and songs,
The Three Little Pigs tells the story of a mischievous trio of piglets - Cha, Siu, and Bao. When Papa Pig is eaten by the Big Bad Wolf, poor Mama Pig can no longer keep her piglets fed and so she sends them off into the world to try and make it on their own. The three little pigs encounter obstacles and adventures along the way, learn some valuable lessons about working as a team and have as much fun as a pig in the mud!
Children will love this colorful and energetic production of the classic tale, while adults will appreciate the show's humor, especially the delightful character of the Wolf and his double entendre. Recognise the piglets names? Cha sui boa - or also known as pork dim sum.
This is one (curly) tail you won't want to miss!
