L'Imperatrice
Not since the demise of the superstar duo in 2021 have a band combined irresistible grooves, catchy hooks and presentational panache like this. They're French, of course.

Viens A La Discotheque!
French disco-pop band L'Imperatrice head on tour around North America this year, following the release of their brand new album Pulsar! The six-piece from Paris have always had a smooth sound that feels simultaneously nostalgic and fresh, expertly drawing on influences from disco, funk, pop and electronica, having evolved and experimented with the genres since their 2018 debut Matahari.
In 2021 they released the somewhat anime-inspired Tako Tsubo, with tunes and artwork evoking the soundtracks of 80s and 90s Japanese animation. With Pulsar out in June, the band prove they can still make the dancefloor bangers that make their live shows the most fun you could have on a night!
