Dance For Life at Auditorium Theatre

Why see Dance For Life?

the annual gala benefit returns to the auditorium

Chicago welcomes back this annual charity gala in support of sufferers of HIV/AIDS, and young victims of sexual violence performed by the Joffrey Ballet, as well as other dance companies in the region. Last year's benefit saw a record sell-out run of more than 2,000 tickets, and its popularity is set to make demand high again this time. Launched in three countries in 2003, the Holland-based organization works with dance companies and charities in more than 30 countries and has helped over 1.9 million young people to become safe in their lives.

You will be in for a real treat this year as Chicago welcomes a huge host of companies as part of the benefit gala including Joffrey Ballet, DanceWorks Chicago, Giordano Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, River North Dance Chicago and Thodos Dance Chicago plus Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Ensemble EspaƱol Spanish Dance Theater, and Trinity Irish Dance Company; Jessica Miller Tomlinson Choreography; and Visceral Dance Chicago.

The only time of year to enjoy these companies in once place for one night only, all for a noble cause, to help dance professionals living and working in the city, touched by these illnesses.
