Joffrey Ballet present four warm pieces
Joffrey Ballet presents four warm, glowing pieces, including two world premieres and two favorites for which this company is the perfect vessel. Australian Dani Rowe's Princess and the Pea is a brand new balletic adaptation of the much-loved fairy tale. Cathy Marston's Heimat is a glorious interpretation of Wagner's symphonic poem Siegfried Idyll.
Following this is Nicholas Blanc's hope-inducing Under The Tree's Voices, followed by the world premiere of Andante by Yuri Possokhov, set to the magnificent music of Shostakovich. A stunning time at the ballet!
