With a name that references the stomping ground of the infamous serial killer Jack The Ripper, Tennessee rockers Whitechapel unleash a whirlwind of sonic fury wherever they roam. Mainstays of the modern Death Metal scene, the quintet effortlessly blend an unholy trinity of hardcore, black metal and grindcore to form a glorious cacophony, and have honed their tech-heavy art form ever since their debut album release in 2007. But it was their sophomore effort This Is Exile, released in 2008, that truly announced their vengeful rise to the world, becoming a seminal offering in the process.
