Why see Deep Purple?

We All Went Down to Montreux...

When it comes to rock, there aren't many greater names than Deep Purple. The British group formed in 1968, and have been bursting eardrums ever since. Alongside fellow Brits Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath they practically defined what we now call 'hard rock' with albums like Machinehead and tracks including 'Smoke on the Water'. Now in 2024 they're returning to the road.

The band's last full length record was 2017's Infinite. With the irreplaceable Ian Gillan on vocals and original member Ian Paice still sounding out a thunderstorm on the drums. Catch them live - while you still can!

What a great bunch of professionals at the top of their game! They responded to the enthusiasm of the crowd with their own intensity and occasional playfulness. Fantastic setlist, supreme rock musicianship with fantastic solos that wove perfectly with the entire song/show structure. If you like rock music, love rock music or just want to see a legendary band that holds up their end masterfully, you gotta see these guys while you have the chance. ... Read more
