What is the story?

Poor Ella leads a miserable life of servitude under her wicked stepmother and unsympathetic stepsisters. Every day she dreams of escaping her chores and finding love. Her prayers are answered in the form of her Fairy Godmother, who turns up just in time to magically make her over in time for the ball.
