Hello Dolly as become one of musical theater's most recognisable and enduring hits. It has seen three revivals on Broadway, and is now appearing at the Drury Lane Theatre in a brand-new production for Chicago.
The eponymous Dolly of the title is a feisty widow, who has a certain knack for matchmaking, but has yet to find love herself. A fateful trip to New York city sees her meeting a millionaire, getting tangled up in various comic scenarios, and ultimately meeting her match! The show features jaw-dropping dance numbers including 'Dancing' and 'The Waiter's Gallop', together with gorgeous turn of the century designed costumes.

This is a wonderful production! The cast is top notch, as are the costumes, live orchestra, lighting, and choreography. It is a treat for all senses! Carolee Carmello is fabulous as Dolly, she grabs hold of the audience from the very first scene. The dancers are marvels of athleticism and enthusiasm. If you have a kid in competitive dancing who is interested at all in getting into the theater, this is a MUST see. I have season tickets to the Fox Broadway series, this show made it into my top 5 favorites. Thanks for a delightfully entertaining evening! ... Read more
