Since its debut in 1978, millions of Chicagoans - adults and children alike - have been thrilled by The Goodman's production of Charles Dickens's timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his voyage into Christmas past, present, and future. Starring Larry Yando as Scrooge, discover the perfect Chicago holiday tradition for yourself for the first or fifth time this year as it returns on November 18!
What is the story?
The story follows the cruel and miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who hates Christmas and all the cheer that it brings. He's in for a big surprise on Christmas Eve though, when his sleep is disturbed by the appearance of three ghosts, the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Between them, they take Scrooge on three extraordinary journeys and help to show him the error of his ways.
