Why see Big River?

the adventures of huckleberry finn

Join Huckleberry Finn as he, his friend Jim and Tom Sawyer reunite for a thrilling trip down river, in this Tony Award-winning musical adapted from Mark Twain's influential tale. With a book by William Hauptman and music and lyrics by Roger Miller, enjoy this exciting new production, directed by the Mercury Theatre's own Artistic Director, Christopher Chase Carter.

Miller created the show's big hits including King of the Road and Dang Me. Themed around melodies of country, bluegrass and gospel, this extremely funny, yet harrowing river journey sees the trio meet a motley bunch of characters, imagined in Twain's classic 1884 novel.
