Live Soundtrack

Under the baton of conductor Nicholas Buc, Chicago Symphony Orchestra brings you a special screening of the three-time Academy Award nominated movie Field of Dreams, with the beloved 1989 film accompanied by a live orchestral rendition of it soundtrack! Composed by the late James Horner (also known for his work on Titanic and Braveheart), the soundtrack received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Score, underscoring the soundtrack's significance in cinematic history. 

Directed by Phil Alden Robinson, Field of Dreams tells the story of Ray Kinsella, an Iowa farmer who interprets a mysterious voice as a command to build a baseball diamond in his cornfield, leading to a journey of self-discovery and reconciliation.
