Boa Back On The Road

English alternative rock group Boa are on tour around North America this fall following the release of Whiplash, their first official album in 19 years! Despite a career spanning over three decades, Boa's mainstream success is relatively new ground for the group. Their 1998 song "Duvet" went massively viral on TikTok in 2021, becoming a massive hit and resulting in an explosive resurgence and millions of new fans.

Forming in 1993 in London, Boa released a number of albums and EPs through the Japanese record label Polystar and, despite success in Japan, never quite hit the mainstream elsewhere. When "Duvet" suddenly went viral 23 years after its original release, a brand new era for the group was born, with the song finally achieving Gold status in 2024. As a result of their sudden belated stardom, this year's tour is the first time many of their new, younger fanbase will have had the chance to see them live and it's sure to be a hot ticket!
