Josh Ritter

Named in 2006 as one of the 100 Greatest Living Songwriters, Josh Ritter's work is reminiscent of Leonard Cohen and has seen this exceptionally talented artist go from strength to strength since the release of his self-named first album in 1999. He has become an experienced touring artist, having performed internationally with Irish band The Frames, and scoring himself a huge word-of-mouth following in the process.

Los Lobos at Cahn Auditorium

Los Lobos

Fusing good old fashioned rock and roll with brown-eyed soul, cumbia, boleros and norteno, Tex-Mex outfit Los Lobos (which translates to The Wolves) first gained commercial success and an international following when their cover of Ritchie Valens' La Bamba hit the top of the charts around the world in 1987. Experimenting with multiple genres over the decades, their wide-ranging sound has flourished in a variety of styles, from acoustic ballads to experimental rock. Whilst they may reinvent themselves constantly, their definitive fusion of Latin and American music remains at the creative core.

Toad the Wet Sprocket at Cahn Auditorium

Toad the Wet Sprocket

After reuniting in 2006, Toad the Wet Sprocket have set out to honor their contribution to the landscape of the early '90s, including 1991's 'All I Want' and 'Walk on the Ocean', by performing, reworking and updating their back catalog, without losing their emotional core. They're back on the road again - don't miss them in action!

Graham Nash at Cahn Auditorium

Graham Nash

One third (or fourth, depending on who is feuding with whom) of folk rocks biggest super-group, Graham Nash is often credited with being the glue that keeps the trio making sweet music together, and having penned some of their greatest hits including Marrakech Express and more. This summer the former Hollie heads out on tour once more, bringing you an evening that delves far into his remarkable six-decade career, to show you the real Graham Nash.

Cowboy Junkies at Cahn Auditorium

Cowboy Junkies

The Cowboy Junkies heady blend of folk, country, and blues with a dreamy pop quality lies at the intersection between the old school Americana legends and the new school of poetic, hazy rock championed by the likes of The Velvet Underground. The ever-popular genre-bending outfit is hitting the road on tour, bringing their sleepy siren songs along for the ride.

Richard Thompson at Cahn Auditorium

Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson OBE is perhaps best known as a founding member of iconic British folk rock outfit Fairport Convention, but still continues to write and perform under his own steam. Described as a classic rock triple threat, Thompson's celebrated solo career has only blossomed thanks to his virtuosic guitar skills, strong and insightful lyrics and mellifluous vocal style. Don't miss the free-wheeling troubadour when he sets out on a handful of dates this year.
